Some volunteering events that I took part in to build my experiences in the industry

2018
Starker Music Carnival
Singapore Ballet -
Peter and Blue's Forest Adventure
I was assigned to the lucky draw counter for the event.
Was tasked to manage the lucky draw by making sure these people are eligible for the lucky draw and also tasked to give out prizes.

Was tasked to do Front of House. Such as giving out programme booklets and handing out lucky draw slips.
Before the performances, I was also tasked to facilitate the kids' corner, which was to have the kids to do colourings.

Singapore Design Week
Meet and interact with many different people who came for the talks that was happening.
Was tasked to station at the registration counter and help out with any enquiries from people.

Singapore Ballet -
Passages
I was assigned to help out at FOH such as giving out the programme booklets before the show started.
I was then shifted to help at the merchandise booth.

I was tasked to help out at the FOH. Such as giving out of programme booklets before the start of the show.
After the show, I was tasked to help out with the feedback forms, making sure people help to fill them up.

Awesome Arts Festival
I was able to volunteer at the Awesome Art Festival in Perth during September 2017.
I was in charge of facilitating the kids there through the activity that they were doing. I had to tell them the instructions for the activities, provide them with the materials and make sure that they are doing it correctly.

- Communicating with kids and their parents
- Patience
- Facilitation
Singapore Ballet -
Ballet Under The Stars
I was tasked to help out at the Front of House. On the first day, I managed to help with the set up of the event site.
On the second day, I was able to help out at the ticketing. Where I got the opportunity to tear the ticket stubs and gave out lucky draw slips.
On the third day, I was assigned to help out with the merchandise booth.

Istana Arts Event
I was assigned to a counter on that day. Where I have to welcome everyone who was coming for the Art event.
I also had to make sure that when kids came, they were given a drawing paper, where they will be able to take part in the art competition for kids.

Singapore Chinese Orchestra -
Young Children's Concert
I was assigned to facilitate at the kids' corner, where I had to oversee them while they do their activity.
During the concert, I was given the opportunity to be one of the side dancers. Where we had to go and get the kids to join us to dance along.

Singapore Heritage Festival
I was assigned to follow a food trail group. Where I had to make sure all the participants, stay in the group and not get lost.
I also had the opportunity to help with the feedback forms, getting people to fill them up.

MWC's International Migrant
Day Celebration
I was tasked to help usher the Migrant Worker to their seats and also answer whatever questions they may have.

The Reebok Spartan Race
I was assigned to a station that was part of the race. I had to make sure the runners do the station properly before moving on. I had to tell them the instructions too if they did not know how to do it. I had to ensure that they do it right so none of them would be injured.

2015
Childaid Concert
I was tasked to help with this social media platform, such as Instagram. Basically, I had to post whatever was happening.
After the concert, I was tasked to help out at the Photobooth. Where we had to help audiences to take photos.

Campus Game Festival
The Straits Times Run
I was assigned to help with the battle fest, which was a performance competition. I had to cue the performances when it was their turn.

- Be alert
I was assigned to the finishing line. Where I had to give out the medal and finisher tee, to the runners when they completed their race.
